Competitiveness in sports

However, practically most sports need a referee, in soccer it is the referee who decides if fouls have been made, if a goal has been scored, etc.

In swimming the referee decides who reaches the goal first, in basketball he keeps the time of the match, in tennis he decides if the ball entered the court or not.

In short, in each sport the referee has specific functions, if there were no referees it would be very difficult to play many sports, so we must respect and value them, without them many sports could not be played.
